My love for you is a fusion of feelings
feelings that range from love,
to it's extreme...pain
Love has it's own definition for me
I can only experience what my love for you
means to me
Sometimes it's that maddening feeling
that leaves me unable to concentrate on anything
on anyone else but you

It's a feeling that grows over time
I now know how it is that couples can become satisfied
with being together for many, many years
Like me, they found what they were looking for
And decided that's where they want to be

I know this is where I always want to be
for good times
and in the bad times
For the days we don't even know why
and for an eternity

While some will say love is elusive
and they can never find
"the one"
the love I feel for you
should be felt by everyone at least once
because sometimes
its even too deep for me

How much I invest into it
determines how much my return is
I know to grow deeper in love would mean
a point of no return for me

When I think of you
it's that loudest heartbeat
that resonates through me
when we embrace
I sigh
